MADDS builds the monitoring layer around your data platform: live metrics, alerts that mean something, and a response routine that turns a 2 a.m. incident into a ten-minute fix.

Alert anatomy

An alert should arrive already understood.

Most alerting fails in one of two ways: it cries wolf, or it stays quiet while the business bleeds. We build the layer in between.

Critical 14s ago

payments-api p99 latency 1,240 ms — budget 800 ms

Warning 41s ago

orders-etl load is 6 minutes behind schedule

Critical 3m ago

checkout-service error rate 2.8% — budget 1.0%

Warning 5m ago

Incident clock

An alert is only as good as the minutes after it.

Detection without a response plan is just bad news, sooner. We rehearse the whole arc — who gets paged, what rolls back, when customers hear — so the clock works for you instead of against you. Below is a real shape of a MADDS-managed incident, minute by minute.

  1. T+00:00

    Detect

The metric crosses its budget and the alert fires — with the dashboard, the change log and the on-call owner already attached.

  2. T+02:00

    Triage

The on-call confirms the blast radius: which services, which customers, whether it is growing or fading on its own.

  3. T+08:00

    Mitigate

Traffic reroutes, the last deploy rolls back, the queue drains. The bleeding stops before the root cause is fully understood.

  4. T+26:00

    Resolve

The root cause is fixed and verified against the same monitor that caught it. Status is clear, not implied.

  5. T+48 h

    Review

A written review: what failed, what we changed, what we watch next. Every incident leaves the system a little harder to break.

Six numbers tell us if your data is healthy.

Each one gets its own baseline, its own rhythm and its own escalation path. When one drifts, we know within seconds — and so do you.

Threshold bench

Alerts tuned to your business, not a default.

A 500 ms budget means something different for a payments API than for a nightly report. We set thresholds with your team and keep tuning them: dynamic baselines for seasonal traffic, quiet hours for maintenance windows, hard limits for anything customer-facing. Try it — move the budgets and watch the alert state change.

Nominal

No sample breaches your budgets.

Too tight and the page floods with noise; too loose and the incident finds your customers first. MADDS re-tunes these numbers with you every quarter, against real traffic — not guesswork.

Uptime ribbon

A year of quiet days.

This is what good monitoring looks like from a distance: 365 days in which nothing surprised you. We publish uptime, incident counts and response times every month — nothing to interpret, just the record.

99.97% platform uptime, last 365 days

Every block below is one day of your data platform. Most of them are boring — that is the point. The amber and red ones were days with a degraded pipeline or an incident, each with a written review you can read.

Sleep through the next spike.

Tell us what you run and what keeps you up at night. We will map the monitoring gaps in one call and show you what the first 30 days would look like — dashboards, alerts, on-call rota and all.

Updated Draft for review

Your information, handled with purpose. This draft explains the information collected through the MADDS website, why it is requested, and how to contact us about it.

Information you choose to share

When you send an enquiry or project brief, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address and message, together with any company, phone, country, industry, service interests, budget or timeline you choose to provide. Newsletter sign-ups collect your email address and subscription status.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in general enquiry forms. Only share information about another person when you are authorised to do so.

How that information is used

  • Enquiries and proposals: to understand your request, reply to you and discuss a potential project.
  • Project communication: to coordinate agreed work and maintain relevant business records.
  • Optional updates: to manage a newsletter subscription you request. You can ask to stop these messages at any time.
  • Site operation: to maintain forms, investigate technical problems and protect the website against misuse.

Submitting an enquiry is not, by itself, an instruction to subscribe you to marketing messages. Any permission needed for an additional purpose should be requested separately.

Website technology and service providers

Security cookies help the site's forms work correctly. The website also loads fonts and interface libraries from external services, including Google Fonts, Cloudflare's cdnjs and jsDelivr. When your browser requests those files, the provider receives connection information such as your IP address and browser details.

Hosting, email and technical-support providers may process information needed to operate the service. The live provider list, hosting locations and any international transfers must be confirmed before this draft becomes a final notice. Read the Cookie Policy for more detail about website storage.

Retention and security

The proposed approach is to keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed for the relevant conversation, agreed services, record-keeping duties and dispute resolution. Subscription information should be reviewed when someone unsubscribes. Specific retention periods and deletion processes still need to be confirmed by MADDS.

No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Access controls, hosting safeguards and backup arrangements should be reviewed against the information being handled.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about information you supplied, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw a newsletter request. Rights and exceptions depend on the applicable law and the circumstances. We may need reasonable information to verify that a request relates to you before releasing or changing records.

For a privacy question or concern, email info@madds.io with the subject “Privacy request”. This contact route does not limit any right you may have to approach the relevant authority.

Children and changes to this notice

The website presents business services and is not intended to collect information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information. When this notice changes, the revision date will be updated so you can identify the latest version.
